Found on a large carboot during September 2004 a nice cast phenolic 1930's bracelet ... superb colouring, nice and chunky,
a good find ... was mixed up with bits and pieces in an old box, a few images below ....

Below, many pictures of one of the highlights of my collection, a 1920's Handbag shaped compact, containing,
mirror, comb, and lipstick with powder compartments. Celluloid tortoiseshell with inlaid bow, green rhinestones. Bought at
an Art Deco Fair at Battersea Town Hall, London April 2000... This item also featured in the BBC Homes & Antiques
magazine, July 2002, when I was collector of the month.
Below appears a nice round cosmetic/powder box in cream urea, 1947 by H.J.Garland, it has a Diana the Hunter motif
on the lid .........additional conflicting information on this item ..!! I have just viewed ( July 2002 ) an identical box
described as a Soap container to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Sunlight Soap, 1934... any information anyone might
have on this item, would be greatly appreciated.. Jools

a phenolic rod.

K on lid and a small flower motif. Embossed Vyrobca Kosmetika n.p., Bratislava. Penivy Holiaci Krem, obsah 150ccm. I think
this means shaving cream. From Slovakia ( part of the old Czechoslovakia) 1930's.
Small black Bakelite screw top container
for cosmetics, embossed with letter G on lid. On base the following: Koh - I - Noor n.p. Zavod Gama, CSN 90 7001, Ceske Budejovice.
From Czechoslovakia, 1930's.
Round Faceted screw top Bakelite container, brown with ELIDA on the base surrounded by
a laurel wreath?. Marked E on the lid with floral motif extension to the letter. Possibly from Czechoslovakia as well, came
from the same source as the two previous containers, 1930's.
